Dramatic increase in demand for Kenya's fresh produce in Spain

Demand for Kenya's fruits exports has increased dramatically over the past week due to the easing of import restrictions on fresh produce in Europe to allow in more fruit and vegetable supplies.

Spain is among countries with the highest demand because it now without its horticultural production labour force from North Africa are movement paralysed amid the coronavirus outbreak. A couple of flights have resumed taking produce out facilitating exports as demand rises.
