Costa Rica's pineapple industry continues to struggle due to COVID as supply chains remain crippled. The volume coming out of the country has been dropping every week and there is a large domestic oversupply. In the US, the supply of pineapples is significantly down as imports from their largest markets - Costa Rica, Mexico, and Honduras - are all down and this is causing prices to rise.
