A Complete Technology Package To Increase Yield Production of Lowland Cabbage Crops

A Lowland Cabbage Crop Mechanization Package aimed to improve yield production and reduce labor costs has been launched on 26 March 2022. This mechanization package consists of a seed nursery machine, a plastic mulch installer, cabbage planting machine, knapsack sprayer, drone sprayer, and cabbage harvesting machine. Mechanization technology is very helpful towards increasing production, income and living standards of farmers as well as guaranteed supply in the food sectors. Currently, the cultivation of round cabbage in Malaysia is mainly located in highland areas as the ambient temperature is more suitable for the crop.
Now, the production of round cabbage has started to be implemented in the lowlands to accommodate domestic demand given the limited space in the highlands.
