Some middlemen and agents are exploiting raw cashew nuts farmers across the country by purchasing products below the minimum price set by the Ghanaian government in December, 2021. Though the minimum price set by government in December 2021 for the harvest season is USD 0.71 per kg, some agents and middlemen are offering between USD 0.29 and USD 0.43 per kg.
