The Ministry of Foreign Affairs believes that the sector's exports could increase from U$ 65K M to U$ 85K M in the next two years and in this sense, it is maintaining meeting with many agroindustrial representatives.

The Argentine Agroindustrial Council (CAA) requests a decree from the Executive Power granting refunds according to the level of processing and value-added. It also suggests the sanction of three laws: a regime that guarantees fiscal stability for 10 years, another special one with accelerated amortization applied to Income Tax, and a stimulus for investment in capital goods in the agro-industrial sector.

The council proposes two fees depending on the degree of industrialization: 4% (for products with less processing) and 7% (for those with greater processing). At the same time, refunds would not be granted to exports of soybeans, corn, wheat, barley, and sunflower.

The proposal includes a section for the oleaginous industrial complex, where the reimbursement would be 1.5% to flours and pellets, and 2.5% to oils and biodiesel.
