Despite fears of a bad year for agricultural exports, recent data shows that many regions in Spain have had record-breaking campaigns. The most recent data to be made available by producer association Extenda shows a 6% increase in the first half of 2020 compared to the same period last year.
Bell pepper, strawberries, tomatoes, cucumbers, and raspberries are still the top exported products. However, the products that showed the largest increase are cranberries and watermelon, with 4.2% and 3.2% increase.
