Argentine fresh fruit exports grew 6% on average compared to 2019

A total of approximately 797K tons composed of citrus, pome fruits, and vines were exported between January and October 2020. According to the National Service for Agri food Health and Quality (Senasa), and accounting for certified shipments, the main exported volumes follows: about 321K tons of pear; close to 248K tons of lemon; 98K tons of apple; almost 74K tons of orange; and nearly 33K tons of mandarin.

The main destinations were the European Union; the Russian Federation and the United States, among others. In a much lower volume, shipments of blueberries, grapes, kiwi, pomegranate, and cherry, among other fresh fruits, were also registered.
