The California Department of Food and Agriculture’s Plant Pest Diagnostic Center (PPDC) has identified two Asian Citrus Psyllids (ACP) on a glassy-winged sharpshooter trap from a packinghouse in the Orange Cove area of Fresno County for the first time since November 2019. All growers and packing houses are taking measures to prevent the spread of ACP as it decimated Florida citrus orchards in under ten years after its first detection.
