After decades of perfecting the quality and the brand, Asturian beef has been named the fourth-best DOP brand from Spain and is now considered one of the best meats in Europe. The beef sector of Spain has also been growing steadily, reaching 100 million MT in production worth €33.6 million in 2019.
The sector is aware of their privileged situation and thus have a comprehensive structure that allows for constant improvement, communication between producers, and implementation of technologies and practices.
