While still in May 2023, the Atlantic Cod quota in Norway has already reached a significant milestone. By Week 19, 2023, the quota utilization stood at 76%, and by Week 20, it increased to 78.5%. This rapid progress towards the quota limit indicates a potential challenge in maintaining an adequate supply of Atlantic Cod. Consequently, if demand remains unchanged or rises, it is likely that Atlantic Cod products will experience price increases towards the middle of the year.
