During W40, the two most traded species in the auctions held in the Azores region were fresh skipjack, amounting to a total volume of 27 MT, reflecting a 50% decrease compared to the previous week (WoW), and mackerel, with a total volume of 11 MT. Fresh skipjack was priced at USD 1.69/kg for sizes exceeding 3 kg and USD 1.60/kg for sizes ranging between 1.5 and 3 kg. Meanwhile, mackerel was priced at USD 1.65/kg for sizes between 20 and 80 grams and USD 5.35/kg for larger sizes of 200 to 400 grams.
