In Australia, there has been a total of 207,049 TN of Navels and Mandarins exported, a decrease of 20K from 2021. Breaking that down further, Navel Oranges are at 133,486 TN, compared to 149,773 TN in 2021 at W43. This decrease has been due to Albedo, a breakdown of the pith within the orange skin at the beginning of the season, a shortage of pickers, and heavy rains. However, mandarins have faired better at 73,563 TN being exported, only down 3,737 TN from 2021. From W1 to W43, the top five export markets for Navels have been Japan (31,103t), China (23,044t), Hong Kong (22,552t), Vietnam (8,427t), and Korea (7,044). The top five export markets for Mandarins have been China (16,219t), Thailand (14,397t), the Philippines (6,894t), Indonesia (6,019t), and Vietnam (5,445t).
