The Cameroonian sesame seed was mainly sold to the Nigerian wholesaler who transported it by road to Nigeria and exported it to other countries. Due to the insecurity of the roads in the English-speaking zone (border between Cameroon and Nigeria), these wholesalers are forced to export through the port of Douala which considerably increases Cameroon's sesame exports at the moment and increases the availability of sesame in the market.
