Australian Avocado Suppliers Are Looking for New Export Markets

The avocado supply in Australia is outweighing the domestic demand. The already existing surplus will increase as hundreds ofnew avocado trees planted within the past decade will go into harvest soon. The Australian Avocado industry is searching for new export markets such as Japan, India and Thailand. Western Australia is securing access to Japanese markets, but is also looking to expand to establish trade with Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong.
