Due to harsh winter conditions during the months of June-August and severe frosts, banana production has been seriously affected, and the production was delayed with lower volume and poorer quality compared to the same period of 2020. Some producers are not being able to export produce to Argentina during Week 46. Growers are still estimating when this issue will diminish, but only the warm climate during November to January will lead to a better outcome.
