Bayer has been working with local crops and developing hybrids in order to ensure growth in production. Particularly they have been working closely with corn and cotton crops. The local corn crops while raised under conditions of family producers tend to produce about 8-10 tons per hectare, but with the hybrids developed by Bayer, the production increases to almost 10-14 tons per hectare being raised under the same conditions.
