BC spot prawn prices slide downwards due to lack of demand

As British Columbia's spot prawn season comes to an end, fishermen and exporters are looking at lower prices due to poor export demand from Asia. China and Japan are the two largest markets for the Canadian delicacy, but large stockpiles remain in the countries due to COVID. China's issue was the large scale closure of restaurants during lockdowns while Japanese demand was down as the 2020 Olympics were canceled.
