The reason behind of increased price on Colombian beef in Q1 of 2022

According to the beef exporters in Colombia, beef prices have seen a 20% increase over the last few months of 2022. The reasons behind this are a strong demand from both international markets, as well as local buyers and a reduction in the cattle population. The surging prices in international logistics also played a part to increase the beef price.
