2020 was a tough here for the South African wine industry. Recovering from a 4 month alcohol ban in one of the most challenging years in modern history is no easy task. Having said that their has been an increase in sales since the restrictions have been lifted.
Current crop estimates for the 2020 wine grape harvest season is 8.2% higher than the previous year at 1.3-million tons, which brings additional optimism for the upcoming season.
