Black fig harvest and export is about to start in Turkey

Black fig harvest is expected to start on 29th of July and the exports will immediately start the next day. Black figs are exported mainly to Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and France. Turkey had exported 20 KMT of fresh figs in 2019 to 51 countries for an export revenue of 49 million USD. Black fig exports in 2019 were worth 43.3 million USD. Turkey is known for having the best quality of figs in the world.
