Black pepper market situation in Pakistan

Pakistan is one of the largest importers of black pepper from Vietnam. Around 70% of black pepper that is imported into Pakistan comes from Vietnam. Yet, there are very few black pepper importers in Pakistan since it is expensive compared to other spices. This allows the black pepper importers to create their monopoly and fill the market gap at higher prices.
