Blueberry producers choose not to export to Korea due to strict protocols

British Columbia does not have any approved fresh blueberry production for Korea for the 2021 season. Growers across the region chose against dedicating fields for Korea, as meeting the protocols are costly due to the uncertainty of the COVID situation and its effect on global demand and logistics. This said, frozen BC blueberries continue to be eligible to be shipped to Korea.
