A new variety of apples in Australia is now available for consumers. Around 3,000 tonnes of first-grade fruit will be branded and sold on supermarket shelves under the "Bravo" label this year.
The new variety is owned by Western Australia (WA) Government and the production started in 2014. Its characteristic burgundy color and sweet taste make it a promising new variety for the domestic and export markets.
