The Greek government, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Association of Exporters, and the Economic Diplomacy are welcoming the Brazilian delegation's visit to Greece, which will begin on December 22. After the inspection of kiwi orchards and the random control of the authorised exporters, the committee will approve the protocol, and a mutual agreement will be signed that will take immediate effect. This will be the first season that the Greek Kiwi will enter the Brazilian market, hence, major exporters are already planning programmes with loadings as it is important to establish a good name for the Greek Kiwi. As a result, the Chilean Kiwi will face increased pressure due to competition in the Brazilian market, and New Zealand Kiwifruit will also face competition due to its high price.
