Brazil registers an increase in the volume of exported chicken meat, but a decrease in revenue.

In Brazil, exports of fresh and processed chicken meat in November totalled 350.7 thousand tons, an increase of 5.6% compared to November 2019, but revenue decreased 11.3% between periods, to US$ 476.8 million. Between January to November, 3.849 million tons were exported, compared to 3.822 million tons last year, a small increase of 0.71%. In revenue, sales totalled US$ 5.543 billion, 13% less than in the first 11 months of 2019. China remains the main destination for Brazilian chicken meat in 2020. 615,718 were exported to the Asian country. thousand tons between January and November, 20% more than in the same period of 2019. Other Asian countries include South Korea, with 119.026 thousand tons (+ 8%), and Singapore, with 115.598 thousand tons (+ 31%).
