Brazilian coffee exports continue to perform well this year. In October, 4.1 million bags of 60 kg of coffee were shipped (considering green, roasted & ground and soluble beans), an increase of 11.5% in comparison to the previous year. The devaluation of the real against the dollar and the high supply of the current harvest have further boosted the shipments. The performance has been seen as a positive sign in view of the increase in cases of covid-19 in the USA and Europe and the consequent closure of coffee shops and restaurants.
