Despite the Covid-19 pandemic and logistical problems, the fruit sector remained strong and recorded an increase of 6% in exports, reaching 1 million tons.
Tahiti lime gained prominence, with an increase of 14% in fruit shipments abroad, as a result of the greater search for foods source of vitamin C. Mangoes also registered an increase of 13% in exports, compared to 2019, apples registered 11% increase and grapes and watermelons 9% and 5%
