Brazilian Meat Suppliers are Worried About Increasing Scams

Frozen chicken, beef, and pork meat suppliers from Brazil are worried about the scam increase from the supplier’s side. Scammers pretend to own a company that sources frozen meat from well-known brands at low prices, sometimes cheaper by USD 500-1,000 than the market price. These scammers ask for anticipated payments and then disappear, having buyers contact the slaughterhouse of the meat brands in their invoice to check on their orders. Meat suppliers alert buyers not to purchase from unreliable prices with lower prices because slaughterhouses will not respond to these orders.
