Brazilian Pork exports grows 31.7% in November compared to November 2019

Brazil exported 87,500 tons of pork in natural and processed in November 2020 which is 31.7% more in comparison to last years quantity in November. The revenue is estimated to be US$ 202.7 million from exports. In the accumulated result for the year, the country exported 39.5% more pork, reaching a total of 940.9 thousand tons, against 674.2 thousand tons in the same period of 2019. In foreign exchange revenue, the sector recorded an increase of 47.1%, with US$ 2.079 billion in 2020, against US$ 1.413 billion in the first 11 months of last year. China continues to lead the way in product purchases, having registered a 115% increase in pork acquisitions in the accumulated result for the year up to November, in the annual comparison. Therefore, 468,572 tons were shipped to China alone in the period, 50% of the total going abroad. Hong Kong came in second, followed by Singapore, Vietnam and Chile.
