As domestic demand increases with the ease of restrictions, the supply of both Brown and White Onions has been abundant. On the other hand, export demand has decreased due to increased shipping costs and delays. Port closures in NSW have put further pressure on an existing backlog of containers waiting to be loaded. Demand from exports remains strong, and prices have been relatively stable apart from freight cost increases. Prices range from USD 1.03/kg to USD 1.08/kg FOB.
