Bulgarians have consumed mostly domestically grown cucumbers in the 2019-2020 season with 83% domestic production and 17% imported. Potatoes are with a similar share of 74% domestic production. Tomato production has been quite balanced with 53% domestically grown and farmed and 47% being imported during the same period. However, apple imports have almost reached a level of 90% which places the country in the net importer ranks.
