Turkish almond buyers are dissatisfied with the California's Nonpareil almond price which ranged at USD 2.60/lbs CIF Mersin in W49. Turkish buyers are hoping for a price drop, but California almond exporters predict that due to a shortage of nuts, prices will rise to USD 2.80/lbs for CIF Mersin Port. This is because the crop's volume yield for the 2022 season was 13% lower than it was for the previous crop.
