The domestic supply of carrots falls short due to the floods and heavy rain in NSW and QLD that affected approximately 20% of the crop with waterlog damage. The harvest for the new season in QLD is delayed for 6 weeks, putting pressure on TAS and WA harvest, as labor shortages still interrupt meeting orders. Domestic prices have continued to go up by 5%, FOB prices ranging from USD 0.92 per kg to USD 0.98 per kg.
