The prices of raw cashew nuts (RCN) and cashew kernel in China decreased sharply in May 2022. Chinese exports have increased significantly from April 2022 to May 2022, but still remains 40% down compared to exports from January 2021 to May 2021. RCN imports in 2022 also have shown signs of decrease due to the lower supply available in Cambodia. The reason behind the lower supply availability is yet to be determined.
