Mexican chickpea suppliers are almost done with their productive season, which is reflected in lower product offers. Currently, fewer volumes are available for bigger sizes.
According to Mexican suppliers, there has been overproduction in the last two years - thus, this led to lower prices for chickpeas. They are currently not very motivated to produce more as they had been before 2019.
