Egg exporters in Brazil are excited to open the Chilean market for SPF (Specific Pathogen Free) eggs. The opening of the market comes after the acceptance of the International Health Certificate (CSI) model for the export of Brazilian eggs. Chile imports more than USD 6 million per year of fresh eggs and derivatives, a good opportunity for egg exporters and importers in these countries.
