Chilean Blueberry Season Update: Blueberry Express

The United States is the main market for blueberries in Chile, and last season the exporters faced the greatest difficulties regarding transit time (TT) and high congestion in the main ports. Due to this logistics complication presented last season, Blueberry exporters from Chile have reached an agreement to implement a charter service to the US market that is specifically for fresh blueberries, which is already called the "Blueberry Express".

This is going to be a special service that will start at week 49 of the 2022-2023 season that will provide only vessels (charters) for fresh blueberries, and it is expected that the exporters can fulfill the expected transit time (TT) and with the condition required by the buyers in terms of quality.
