Chilean cherries have increased sea freight tariffs to China

Chilean cherry exporters are paying USD 10K - 15K to transport their products to China and other main destinations. This increase in price and demand is detrimental for Peruvian exporters such as grapes and mango as their products are given low priority.
This is expected to last until Week 2 2022 when the cherry season gets to an end.
