China opens for Zambian blueberries

Blueberries grown in Zambia can now be exported to China following approval from customs authorities. The General Administration of Customs of China (GACC) has issued the import requirements for Zambian fresh blueberries, providing immediate access to berries that meet the conditions.The GACC announcement gives access to blueberries grown in the Chisamba region of Zambia that transported by air or sea. The berries must be cold treated at 11°C or below for 15 days; 1.67°C or below for 17 days; 2.22°C or below for 21 days.
