China's Surimi Imports from Russia Surge 225% YoY in Mar-24

On Mar-24, China imported 4.4 thousand tons of pollock surimi from Russia, marking a 225% year-over-year (YoY) increase. However, the average price also rose by 53% YoY, reaching USD 1.81/kg. The significant increase in import volume can be due to the lower price compared to the previous year.
