China is the largest export detonation for Russia's seafood, accounting for more than 60% of the market share. It, in October 2020, announced a new restriction on imported seafood from Russia after finding traced of the coronavirus on the seafood's outer packaging.
According to statement issued by General Administration of Customs of China, China will suspend import from two fishing vessels, Vladimir Starzhinsky LLC Roliz and Crystal Africa, for four weeks starting from September 26, 2020, and will automatically resume after the expiry date. The outer packages of aquatic products and product samples of these vessels were positive for coronavirus nucleic acid, so emergency preventive measures were taken.
