China to Remove Tariffs on Ecuadorian Frozen Shrimp from May 1, 2024

From May 1, 2024, China will remove tariffs on imported frozen shrimp from Ecuador. According to the bilateral Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the two countries, which takes effect next month, the tariff rate on Ecuadorian shrimp under HS code 0306170 will be reduced to 0%, and the announcement aims to "further stimulate the potential of bilateral trade and investment cooperation between China and Ecuador."
