Ribbonfish (Species: Trichiurus lepturus) of Indonesian origin is a commodity widely known for being exported to China, Korea, Taiwan, and Singapore. Amongst the countries, China shows high demand for Indonesian ribbonfish, but W46 reports indicate suppliers in the east of Indonesia are unable to meet the incoming orders. According to suppliers in the East Java area, ribbonfish have a limited supply due to the low season. The catch or supply will increase in the South Java Sea toward the end of December 2022 or the beginning of January 2023.
