The market price of Myanmar yellow maize is relatively expensive than the Brazilan maize thus it is sometimes sold to neighboring countries when they need it. However, the Chinese and Thai buyers will likely import more yellow maize from Myanmar from 2021 as it is very convenient in logistics and shorter in time. The Chinese government and Thai government will open the yellow maize quota in April.
