Victorian-NSW border close in Australia: Citrus farmers may lose millions

Citrus growers face losing almost $2 million in production due to worker shortages. Up to 1200 seasonal workers are left without legitimate work after being banned from crossing the Victorian-NSW border due to Coronavirus. In an estimation of this lower labor force, about 280,000kg of fruit will be unpicked each day, with a value of $1.7 million.
