Pasta manufacturers are worried about climate change. Too much rain in Europe and unprecedented climatic drought in Canada led to a wheat shortage. The durum wheat, which is the only raw material used for pasta, had never been so expensive. Pasta manufacturers in France estimate that 2M tonnes are missing to reach the demand.
