Cold Weather Conditions in Peru Might Delay Mango Harvest in the 2022-2023 Season

A significant number of exporters with extended coverage of mango fields on the north coast of Peru expect to face a delayed harvesting season for the upcoming 2022-2023 mango season. Unstable and cold weather conditions have affected fruit development. However, this should not affect the volume and calibration overall expected for this 2022-2023 season. If the temperature on the north coast of Peru does not increase, producers will face a yield drop.
