The variety Orri of Mandarin which has its origin in Israel has been developed more and more through the years in Spain. The production land of mandarin Orri in Spain is still decreased compared to Israel, which has wider area of production, thus having higher supply and being able to sell at lower prices. With the arrival of the Orri in the European market, this campaign started very well . Demand for Israeli Orri is higher than Spanish one due to its lower prices, however buyers are starting to switch to Spanish origin due to the proximity of the market, which is able to offer faster service and better quality due to the shorter transit time.
