It is confirmed that banana plantations in northern Peru have Fusarium TR4 disease, a fungal disease that is transmitted by the soil and causes damage to the vascular tissue of the roots and stems of plants, generating symptoms of withering and death. Because of this, a significant reduction in production is estimated for which immediate and aggressive measures are being taken.
