Congestion at Karachi port causing serious delay in vessel schedules in Pakistan

There has been serious congestion at Karachi port since last week to the extent that the vessel which was to be departed last week, has not been able to depart even after 7 days. This delay in the berthing process combined with delay in vessel schedules is making both the buyers and suppliers furious and is negatively impacting the trade activities due to higher risk and uncertainty.
